A very important point is that there are no boats that transport directly from Isabela Island to Cristobal or vice versa, the only way to travel is making a stopover on Santa Cruz Island. To go from Cristobal to Santa Cruz it is recommended to travel by light airplane.

The ferry fare is $35 USD for adults and $30 USD for children (ages 2–10) one way. The route to Floreana costs $40 USD. This price applies to all routes: Santa Cruz to San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz to Isabela, and Santa Cruz to Floreana.
How long does the ferry trip take?
The trip between Santa Cruz and San Cristóbal takes approximately 2 hours. The trip between Santa Cruz and Isabela takes 2.5 hours. The trip to Floreana also takes approximately 2.5 hours.
What are the ferry schedules?
Ferries depart twice a day: at 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM from Santa Cruz to San Cristóbal and Isabela. From Floreana, there is only a departure at 8:00 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It is recommended to arrive at the pier 1 hour before departure.
How do I buy ferry tickets?

Do children pay for ferry tickets?
Yes, children ages 2 to 10 pay $30 USD per trip (child fare). Children under 2 travel for free on the lap of an accompanying adult. Adults and children over 10 pay the full fare of $35 USD.
Is there a direct ferry from San Cristóbal to Isabela?
No, there is no direct ferry. The boats make a stop on Santa Cruz Island, but we can arrange it so it feels like a single trip. If you’d like, you can take the opportunity to explore the city or enjoy our free co-working space and free luggage storage at the office while you wait for the next ferry from San Cristóbal to Isabela.
What should I bring for the boat trip?
We recommend bringing: motion sickness medication (take 30 minutes before departure), sunscreen, water, light snacks, comfortable clothing, and a light jacket. The sea can be rough, especially between July and November. Arrive at the pier 1 hour before departure.
